We develop Cost Effectiveness (CE) models to evaluate whether an intervention provides value for money, relative to an existing intervention; with value being defined as cost relative to health outcomes. To achieve this, we identify whether the additional benefits of the intervention, outweighs the cost.
Our Budget Impact Models (BIM) are used to present the prospective financial impact of our client’s products. It is essentially an economic assessment that estimates the financial effects of utilising an intervention and the analysis includes the direct costs of specific resources required to put the intervention into practice.
Our structured multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) approach for eliciting, demonstrating, and communicating the value of a health technology, has proved to be highly effective in the healthcare environment. It has been used to support and strengthen the value proposition of our clients’ assets and allows for additional value metrics go be considered and evaluated beyond that of a cost-effectiveness or a burden of illness.
