Our Budget Impact Models (BIM) are used to present the prospective financial impact of our client’s products. It is essentially an economic assessment that estimates the financial effects of utilising an intervention and the analysis includes the direct costs of specific resources required to put the intervention into practice.

Budget Impact Models

We develop traditional and dynamic BIMs. The development our dynamic BIMs include the use of current payer data e.g., prevalence, incidence, resource use and cost. Members of our team have experience of developing both global and local BIMs and, our overall approach to model development is simplicity. We ensure that the data used in our models is robust, accurate and current. We also provide comprehensive documentation outlining the model inputs, outputs, a technical report, and user guide. We also offer full training for our clients to ensure they can comfortably navigate and have a full understanding of the model and can interpret the findings.

How We Can Help

Our team can develop BIMs for various products and payer archetypes. The outcome of our models supports our clients with gaining patient access for their products, and making resource allocation decisions over several years, for example one to five.
