Systematic literature reviews aim to collate all the available evidence for a particular research question and implement these to find the best answers, following a thorough and systematic evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of this evidence. Such a rigorous process ensures any conclusions drawn from this evidence pool are highly robust. In short, the more sensitive the methods used to yield such the evidence base for a systematic review, the richer and more accurate the conclusions made will be.
Systematic Literature Review
We offer comprehensive reviews to our clients and have experience in executing SLR’s at all stages of the process, including protocol development, search and screening, data extraction, data synthesis and final reporting. Using targeted searches and translating the results into digestible graphics (heatmaps) allows us to instantly recognise gaps in the evidence and refine the search strategy accordingly and effectively keep our clients engaged in the process. After the initial phases of the review, we can also ensure accuracy of the results using iterative scoping searches and sample screening. Once the search and screening processes are complete, all evidence will be processed with high attention to detail in order to inform a report that breaks down the strength of evidence by category. Where weak points of evidence are found, suitable supplementary evidence can be identified following discussion with our clients.
